Year Of The Tiger/I am a tiger...really a pussy cat...
The Tiger has an overpowering attraction and is very kind and always takes on the character as protector. The Tiger flourishes by power and attention and takes advantage of all circumstances it gets itself into. The Tiger is a natural leader and loves to be the centre of attention. As a rebel it goes up against authority and speaks out about wrongs in society, and willingly puts up objections. Even if you don’t agree with the beliefs of the tiger you admire his way to protest.
Just as how their counterparts in the jungle are impulsive, so too are individuals born in the Chinese Year of the Tiger. When people think of tigers, it is their vigor and power that comes to mind first. But it has also been noted that tigers are known to share and are unselfish animals. The reason people admire the tiger is due to the fact that they are ferocious and domineering on the outside, but they are just as noble and distinguished on the inside. These are the same personality attributes that persons will have who are born in the Year of the Tiger.
People that are born in the Year of the Tiger are generally well liked because of their charismatic personalities. Often, failing at a given duty or being unproductive in his personal or professional life can cause a Tiger to experience a deep sense of depression.A Tiger is always at their happiest when they endeavor to climb the ladder of success. Attaining the top spot is his foremost purpose; being in a position of power is her ultimate goal. They are quick learners, need to be challenged and often prefer to work alone. Some Tigers tend to change careers more frequently because they get bored quite easily. They are natural born leaders and perform at their best if working towards positions of power and influence. So once there is no further room for progression, they will often move on to something else.
Anyone that is born in the Year of the Tiger is usually straightforward and outgoing by nature. They will never give up no matter how aggravated they may become. But, they are also full of suspicion and at times will take hasty action. Never lose sight of the fact that Tigers are smart and instinctive.
People born in the Year of the Tiger always take pride in being different from others, and normally demonstrate their originality best in their homes. Their homes are typically filled with exotic possessions. It is no surprise that one of the Tiger’s favorite gemstones is the cat’s eye, but tigers also love the sparkle of rubies and diamonds. They like to spend money, and also to share it. They can be very impulsive spenders because they know they can at all times make more.
The Year of the Tiger is the third year in the cycle of “Heavenly Branches”. Customarily, it is called “Yin”. Those born in the Year of the Tiger are compatible with the horse, dog, and dragons. The year 2010 is another Year of the Tiger. It is the ji-chou year. Jji is the sixth of the Ten Celestial Stems and yin is the third of the Twelve Terrestrial Branches and marks the Year of the Tiger.
Were you born during a Year of the Tiger?
You were if you were born in one of these years:
1902, 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, and 1998.

Annie In Alley Downtown Fullerton

I worked with her years ago in hospital...I would look at her and say wow I bet I could take some great pics of her? (she reminded me of Natalie Wood) but we didn't know each other except for work...she was the charge nurse I was the unit Secretary. I was leaving for lunch she asked where are you going for lunch? I said not sure fast food why? she said can I go with you? I was ahhh...ok...we get in car...and she blurted out she just broke up with her boyfriend and started to cry! I felt so bad because here I am ...strong large and in charge over my dilemma that just passed...and now I hear this coworker who I hardly know just purge!!??? we talked then I gave her my number we became friends,we even were roommates on and off through out the years...she's high maintenance I'm so not! I told her to come over one evening just do her hair and makeup and I'll do the rest...I put her in my dress...I tend to do that with a black vintage dress I have from the 50's its like a right of passage to photograph in it... :) I bought this dress when I was 18 years old...Annie is modeling it in this pic 1996...money was tight...so I bought 99 cent film from what else the 99 cent store...used my canon rebel...and got this shot which I love! we are still friends...Annie is happy and in love with the man of her dreams!

There was a woman that lived in my building years ago! she was such a B!!! she would get cars towed, complain about noise, call cops on new years eve??? mean mean...long story short I was having the worst time in my life...not being able to focus and trying to survive. one day I was about to leave for work and I saw her through my blinds put this poem in my mailbox...I didn't read it until I got to work thinking it was a nasty complaint or one of her talks about...blue could you not have your tv on after 9 pm? Yes 9! Or my favorite... your cat and you make too much noise...my cat? when I got to work I read it. Later after coming home from work I asked her...I said... did you leave this in my mailbox? she immediately said no! (defensive) I said really? not telling her I saw her put it there...then I realized she was turning flush...I said oh OK...gee I wish I knew who did...I'd really like to tell them Thank You! she just kept watering the pavement...I said...well sorry for bothering you...she was silent and looked away. remembering her makes me smile. fyi she still was a complainer...yep.
Dear complainer...(s) You liked me...you really liked me!!! :)
Here is poem she put in my mail box...
Letting Go
Author unknown
To "let go" does not mean to stop caring,
it means I can't do it for someone else.
To "let go" is not to cut myself off,
it's the realization I can't control another.
To "let go" is not to enable,
but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To "let go" is to admit powerlessness,
which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To "let go" is not to try to change or blame another,
it's to make the most of myself.
To "let go" is not to care for,
but to care about.
To "let go" is not to fix,
but to be supportive.
To "let go" is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.
To "let go" is not to be in the middle arranging the outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To "let go" is not to be protective,
it's to permit another to face reality.
To "let go" is not to deny,
but to accept.
To "let go" it not to nag, scold or argue,
but instead to search out my own shortcomings, and correct them.
To "let go" is not to adjust everything to my desires
but to take each day as it comes,
and cherish myself in it.
To "let go" is not to criticize and regulate anybody
but to try to become what I dream I can be.
To "let go" is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.
To "let go" is to fear less,
and love more.

Sex addict is not the same as a love addict...

I have said many times ...I am a lover of love..let me clarify...a healthy love... a love thats not just one but two people who both work together living and learning about each other along the way. A one sided love is just what it is...one sided. it's not the side you want to be on. No it's not easy...at the same time it should not hurt either. Here is a list of a love addict...
love,
you only see what you want to see. You distort reality to quell anxiety and feed your fantasies.
You have a high tolerance for suffering in relationships. You are willing to suffer neglect, depression, loneliness, dishonesty—even abuse—to avoid the pain of separation anxiety (what you feel when you are not with someone you have bonded with).
More than once, you have carried a torch for someone and it was agonizing.
You love romance. You have had more than one romantic interest at a time even when it involved dishonesty.
You have stayed with an abusive person.
Fantasies about someone you love, even if he or she is unavailable, are more important to you than meeting someone who is available.
You are terrified of being abandoned. Even the slightest rejection feels like abandonment and it makes you feel horrible.
You chase after people who have rejected you and try desperately to change their minds.
When you are in love, you are overly possessive and jealous.
More than once, you have neglected family or friends because of your relationship.
You have no impulse control when you are in love.
You feel an overwhelming need to check up on someone you are in love with.
More than once, you have spied on someone you are in love with.
You pursue someone you are in love with even if he or she is with another person.
If you are part of a love triangle (three people), you believe all is fair in love and war. You do not walk away.
Love is the most important thing in the world to you.
Even if you are not in a relationship, you still fantasize about love all the time— either someone you once loved or the perfect person who is going to come into your life someday.
As far back as you can remember, you have been preoccupied with love and romantic fantasies.
You feel powerless when you fall in love—as if you are in some kind of trance or under a spell. You lose your ability to make wise choices.

Whats love got to do with me? Everything. :)

welll....frankly alot! I feel like I am just like my sis calls me the old lady on the mountain who people come to for comfort and guidance...I am a listener and voice but most of all a friend. I watch how others walk away feeling better about their situation...I never ask for... but receive feedback that warms my heart sometimes to the point of crying. I only know how to be unconditional in my words and loving...it makes me sad that some of the people who come to see me have been taken or scared into believeing they are cursed...I feel like I do damage control for unethical types. (not fair) but as the cliche goes...life is not fair...deal with it! I am a lover of love...I believe in it more than I can say...yet I have been dealt curve ball after curve ball in that department. funny not in a sarcastic way but funny how things work out...amazingly though I still have a open heart? not jaded not bitter...what a waste of time...no I'm blessed with great family and friends...and yes at times love. I feel love around me in millions of other ways..."I know I know...its not the same blue!" yes it is. you have to be creative and open not just your eyes but your heart to all the pleasures life has to offer you. I guess I have died and almost gone to heaven to appreciate that statement. (literally) that's another story for a later date. "you can fall to pieces or pickup the pieces...I say keep your arms full!" love and light, blue :)

Automatic Drawings By Blue

Automatic drawing (distinguished from drawn expression of mediums) was developed by the surrealists. as a means of expressing the subconscious. In automatic drawing, the hand is allowed to move 'randomly' across the paper. In applying chance and accident to mark-making, drawing is to a large extent freed of rational control. Hence the drawing produced may be attributed in part to the subconscious and may reveal something of the psyche, which would otherwise be repressed. Examples of automatic drawing were produced by mediums and practitioners of the psychic arts. It was thought by some Spiritualists to be a spirit control that was producing the drawing whilst physically taking control of the medium's body.

raccoon as your power animal

Raccoon, Power Animal, Symbol of Our Many Masks, Dexterity
Raccoon's Wisdom Includes understanding the nature of masks, disguise, dexterity, seeking guidance and confidence, questioning without fear, balancing curiosity, shape shifting, secrecy.
In some ways, the racoon is a clever scavenger. Their magic is their mask, though often the raccoon's mask is linked with its ‘banditry’ - they have been known to open peoples house doors and bin lids to take food - the mask has a far deeper meaning. No one, including you and I, are ever quite what we may seem - even to ourselves, for in our lives we can experience the freedom of many identities. Be it with friends, partners, children, parents, work colleagues, strangers etc. This medicine helps us to take on and let go of the many roles we fill. Having various identities isn’t negative, for we can learn to become adept at changing identities when appropriate. Over time this becomes as easy as selecting and changing ones clothes. Your many faces are about to be revealed to you. The racoon will assist you how to mask, disguise and transform yourself. Masks are a powerful tool - through the use of masks, altered states can be reached. Racoon people generally do well in professions to do with theatre.
Raccoons seem indifferent when caught ‘stealing’, although if provoked they can become ferocious. They are strong and muscular and can hold their own in nearly all situations, teaching us to do the same.
If Raccoon is your power animal, eating mainly fruit and vegetables will be beneficial to your health. Raccoon will have a long influence on your life, staying with you for a long time.
Racoons are for the main nocturnal animals, travelling in small groups of 1 or 2 families searching for fruits, vegetables, and small animals. Often they can be seen sloshing their hands and food in water before eating. The symbol of hands represent holding, receiving or giving. If raccoon comes to you may be being asked to let go of a situation, person, belief or habit. Reversely, the message may be for you to receive the gifts being offered to you by the Universe.
They are excellent swimmers, though they prefer being up a tree - which is where they are often found. Up here they are aware of everything around them and see danger a long way off. Racoons are highly curious leaving no stone unturned. This has its up and down sides. Following ones curiosity can pave the way for new and exciting things. However curiosity without caution can pave the way to trouble.
